Objects Session Notes
M33 - Spiral Galaxy with Transient AT 2023nou NGC 513 - Spiral Galaxy with Transient AT 2023jpp (Attempt) - M101 w/SN2023ixf , NGC 5297 w/AT2023mlt, UGC 9350 w/SN2023nny, AT2023cur & AT2023cvz attempts failed (due to bad focus) Variable Stars (photometric monitoring) - Z And, BL Lac, V Sge Nearby Stars (astrometric monitoring) - None - Barnards Star attempt failed (due to bad focus)
- All night session (3.5 hrs). Images from first 7 targets were out-of-focus and were rejected. This was due to a major change in focus / atmosphere from the previous session and a QC Check Rejection of the Best Focus Measurement for Near Zenith Focus Field at the start of the session - 12" LX200 + ST-10XME for imaging - TS 80mm APO + ZWO ASI178MC for guiding & imaging - Ambient Temperature: 7.5°C (min) - CCD Temperature: -10° / -15° C - Notes from 2023-07-30 >> -
