Main aims

  1. Targets. Acquire images of a selection of variable stars, nearby stars, comets and deep sky targets as allowed by conditions.
  2. Shutter. Ensure observcatoryu shutter is operating correctly following recent repair and design improvment.

Pre-Session Weather forecast showed clear interval in middle of evening (14-29% cloud cover) and later in night (10-39% cloud cover) patchy cloud conditions in first part of night (27-73% cloud cover) with minium tempertaure of 5 degC and wind up to 22 mph .

In the event skies there were clear for much of the night, with cloudy intervals at 22:30 and 23:30 to 00:15
and thin cloud & poorer transparency gradually developing from 03:40 onwards
